I enjoy designing patterns - they're fun and visually appealing. I keep files of them and use bits and pieces throughout other designs. Most of these (with the exception of the geometrical patterns) are hand drawn, scanned and then colored and manipulated in Illustrator.
I created this infographic for a Real Estate client. She had a very unique house to sell and wanted to create a large direct mail piece and use the graphic online as well. This was one of my favorite projects. The color scheme is derived from the actual colors of the beautiful victorian mansion in Louisville, Kentucky.
I worked on this campaign from concept to completion - the idea was to create fun and colorful creative pieces to promote the Keeneland Style Sweepstakes. Promotional pieces were displayed all over Fayette Mall and Keeneland Style tags were displayed on select pieces of clothing. The overall campaign was highly successful and will be promoted again in the Spring.
Menu currently in progress, finished design coming soon!
Digital signs are new to Keeneland as of the Fall of 2013. I am in charge of managing the signs and creating and monitoring content. We have 6 digitial signs and are looking into expanding soon. I have developed two main templates; one full screen display for advertisements during the race meet, and another with 3 active blocks that rotate events and other information.
The following graphics were done in collaboration with art/logos created by Keeneland's Agency of Record, Cornett-IMS: WINS-Day logo, BETologist logo & character, Football player (See Blue), & Mobile App Advertisement. More of their wonderful work can be seen here: www.teamcornett.com
Sponsor Recap Books
Twice a year, Keeneland has a race meet - once in April, and once in October. Several races have corporate sponsors. After the races end, it is my job to put together a visually appealing recap book for each sponsor. Each book is around 30 pages. I normally do around 6 books for the Spring meet and around 11 for the Fall. I've included examples of the Toyota recap book to give an idea of my design. (This book is still in progress - other pages will be posted soon! Email me if you'd like to see more right away.)
I do a lot of html emails as part of my job. I've built templates for Exact Target and Mail Chimp primarily.

Lex What Wear
This was a fun project for me to work on. A coworker of mine left our company to start her own fashion blog. I did some freelance work for her and helped her come up with different elements for her blog.
Real Food Advocate
I created a health food blog as a hobby. I built the website in Wordpress and created the brand identity, logo, and graphic elements for social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. This website is a fun hobby for me. I enjoy designing and maintaining the website as much as I enjoy the cooking and creating recipes.
This sign was created for the Keeneland Gift Shop. They have trunk shows almost every day during the race meets, so I always have fun designing signs (for the grounds) and promotional materials for social media.
College Ambassador logo/identity
This was a fun quick project - the idea was to come up with a simple logo/identity for Keeneland's College Ambassadors. The design was embroidered in polo shirts and printed on decals and on promotional materials.
Hot List/Keeneland Select
Keeneland Select is Keeneland's premier ADW (Advanced Deposit Wagering), or online wagering site. I do a lot of banner ads, logos, HTML email templates and promotional pieces as well as some web design work for them.
This is a print ad designed to go in a sporting magazine. I kept the design light so the focus would be on the painting.
4C Web Interface Design
I've done various website designs, both for my company and freelance clients. I've done websites using a CMS. I've also done them from "scratch" using HTML and CSS.
